It has just been crazy how quickly word of mouth travels and every time I take on a job that is too big, it ends up working out with everyone being happy and even referring my company to their friends and family! It is scary, but I always feel empowered knowing I am making myself in charge of my destiny and direction. It is exciting to meet people, eat at restaurants, and shop at stores that come from all over the world and feel like you get to experience different aspects of so many places. What I like most about Miami is the beach and the diversity of cultures. Some of them stressed themselves out due to their perfectionism. How did you get to where you are today? This started my passion of not only cooking, but catering to all the important details of celebrations.

Soon, I had enough business to start my own catering company, The Katerer. I am known for my tasting menus of modern inventive cuisine and typically feature four tasting menus for each season. At that point, my goal was to provide culinary experiences to other people, so I decided to pursue my dreams and attended Johnson and Wales University, specializing in Culinary Nutrition. I know what it is like to taste olive oil from Italy, a Rose from France, or a piece of white fish caught directly off the Mediterranean and my goal is to provide that same feeling here in the United States when foodies taste meals from The Katerer. I also specialize in pairing wine with all my menus to create the most satisfying dining experience. My favorite part was always preparing large dinners for the whole family during the holidays.
