Adopt a Tree Campaign

Adopt a Tree Campaign

This year, we are proud to introduce our Adopt a Tree Campaign.

The National Park Service is planning on planting over one hundred new trees in at Stones River National Cemetery. You can symbolically adopt one or more of these trees with the funds partially used for the care and maintenance of the trees.

You will be invited to a special Tree Planting Day in the fall. Your contribution is recognized with a certificate noting the GPS coordinates of your adopted tree and your name listed on our web site with other donors. Businesses can also contribute by contacting our Executive Director Lindsey Jennings at lindseyjennings@friendsofstonesriver.org

This meaningful initiative will help preserve and beautify the cemetery while creating a lasting tribute within one of the battlefield’s most sacred spaces. Please click below and make a gift of $250 or more to name your tree.

NOTE: Due to park's regulations, we can not mark the tree with the donor's name.

Click on the button below to make an online payment with a credit card. Please note that each credit card transaction will incur a 3% processing fee automatically. For tax purposes, this transaction fee is not tax-deductible. Make sure to click the link after completion to print your receipt for your tax files.
